Ellen Wang was born in Taiwan and raised in South Africa. Her academic career began as a student of Economic Sciences at the University of Stellenbosch where she completed her Honours in Transport Economics. In 2013 she graduated with an MSc in Transport Economics from the University of Antwerp in Belgium on the Erasmus Mundus EU-Scholarship. 

 

Ellen has garnered professional experience as an Independent Research Analyst, after which she decided to delve into the education space.  She worked as an English Educator and Assistant Programme Director in Taiwan for several years. Upon returning to South Africa, Ellen completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Education at the University of Cape Town with distinction in 2019.

 

In her role as Business Manager, Ellen is effectively the person behind-the-scenes who makes sure that everything runs smoothly at L & N Advisors.

 

In her spare time, Ellen's incredible eye for quality and value takes centre stage. She is active in her practice of 'upcycling', and collects perfectly intact or brand new, but discarded items, for resale at various local markets. Ellen enjoys scrolling through articles on Quora, spending quality time with her family and friends, and giving herself some downtime to practice gentleness and kindness towards herself.
